What’s your go to snack? My go to snacks are any kind of fruit! Preferably mango.
What’s your favorite hobby? Besides Martial Arts, I do enjoy to sing. I grew up being a part of musical theatre and did a lot of off Broadway shows. Performed in Grease, High School Musical, Etc.
Do you have any nicknames? Since my last name is Kaiassas (Kay-Ah-sis) people would call me chaos for short. It stood with me and I mostly used it as a stage name for martial arts.
Describe your personality in 3 words? I’m Vivacious, ambitious, and compassionate.
What do you live about helping people see results? Being a part of their journey alone is my favorite. Seeing one grow to something they’ve never thought they’d be able to become, both physically and mentally. That’s the greatest gift an instructor can ever receive.
What are you grateful for? I’m most grateful for my parents. They’ve stood by my side during all the obstacles I’ve faced. Most importantly, I’m grateful that they put me in Taekwondo when I was younger. That’s what started my Martial Arts journey.
List 3 role models that inspire you?Personally, my mother. Musically, Christina Aguilera. Artistically, Bruce Lee
What’s one fun childhood memory you had as a kid? I’ll never forget when it was my first sparring tournament. I was a yellow belt at the time and my first opponent was a brown belt! Before I sparred, I kept thinking to myself “there is no way I’m going to win against a brown belt”. My instructor at the time, Master Alex, was incredibly supportive and gave me that motivation I needed. I ended up winning that fight against the brown belt and took home that gold medal.
What are some things you love about being a coach / talent Martial Arts isn’t a sport, it’s an art. My favorite thing about being a ‘talent’ is making sure my students know that. I’ve always said that if you join any sort of Martial Arts specifically for exercise, stop. If that’s the case then get a gym membership or join your schools sport team. Martial arts is a philosophy, a science, and most importantly the key to mental growth. It gives you that confidence, ambition, perseverance, and etc, that you need in life. It’s a craft that no one has EVER perfected because there’s an infinite amount of knowledge, techniques, and history to learn. Seeing my students go from timid to outgoing, misbehaved to disciplined, and most importantly close minded to YEARNING to learn more about absolutely everything in life, is by far my absolute favorite thing.
